Bayer Introduces a Control Program

Bayer announces a pinkeye control program which combines three measures to aid in the prevention of pinkeye when caused by Moraxella bovis. The three control measures include vaccinating with new 20/20 Vision 7 vaccine and timely application of Cutter Insecticide ear tags and Cylence pour-on insecticide.

Bayer is making a special offer to cattle producers and veterinarians. They will receive a pint of Cylence pour-on insecticide if they purchase 100 doses of 20/20 Vision 7 and 100 Cutter insecticide ear tags.

Paul Loney, Bayer product manager, says Bayer feels confident that using the three measures in conjunction and at the proper time will be an effective aid in helping to prevent pinkeye, a disease that is costly to the industry. For best results, Loney recommends producers consult their veterinarian when implementing this program.
