Angus Assn Offers Clearinghouse To Buy/Sell Cattle

The American Angus Association is now offering the Angus Resource Clearinghouse Network (ARC Net) to cattle producers who are looking for ways to either market or buy Angus-sired cattle.

The ARC Net program is a listing service that provides information about Angus-sired animals for sale. Potential buyers can obtain information on genetic background, health and management and planned marketing strategies on groups of cattle for sale. ARC Net also has a calendar of special Angus-influenced sales, including those sponsored by state or local Angus associations and individual producers.

ARC Net can be accessed via the Internet at www.angus.org. Producers wanting to take advantage of the ARC Net service need to complete the listing forms available on the Internet or from association regional managers.
