Cattlemen and women are invited to attend the 2001 Cattle Industry Convention and Trade Show in San Antonio, Texas, January 31 to February 4. The theme for the convention is "Define the Industry: Be Part of the Adventure." Included in the event are the annual meetings of the Cattlemen's Beef Promotion and Research Board, the NCBA and the American National CattleWomen and Cattle-Fax. In addition to key committee, council and board sessions establishing policies and programs for respective organizations, there will be educational programs to provide up-to-date ideas for cattle producers. A "Cattlemen's College" will be held again this year, offering producers creative and profitable suggestions for their operations. The San Antonio Convention Center will be the site of the industry event, which is expected to draw a crowd of 6,000.
