Ohio Cattlemen's Association to Hold Third Annual Bull Sale

The Ohio Cattlemen's Association annouces their 2001 OCA Seedstock Improvement Sale to be held at 1 p.m. on April 28, 2001, at Union Stock Yards in Hillsboro, Ohio. This is the third year of the sale.

The Seedstock Improvement Sale is an all-breeds bull sale for bulls born between January 1, 1998 and March 1, 2000. The bulls must be registered with current EPDs. Bulls will then be evaluated for their genetic potential and scored according to the EPDs. Bulls will be cataloged and sold in the order of greatest genetic potential to least genetic potential by evaluating EPDs for birth weight, weaning weight, yearling weight and milk. All bulls must also pass a breeding soundness exam, and will sell with a Certificate of Veterinarian Inspection.
