Alisal Ranch Consigns with CattleSale.Com for Third Consecutive Year

At the Alisal Guest Ranch and Resort in Solvang, Calif., old traditions meet the conveniences of modern technology; especially when it comes to marketing cattle. The popular retreat and working cattle ranch was CattleSale.com's first consignor in 1999, and remains impressed with CattleSale.com after using its marketing services for three consecutive years. The most recent Alisal transaction involved the sale of nearly 1,700 stockers to ConAgra Beef Company of Greeley, Colo. Dean Talbert, general manager of the Alisal cattle operation, has been pleased with CattleSale.com's customer service, cattle description procedures and the consistent results delivered by its Internet marketing format.

"I'm from the old school and I look for honesty and integrity in business. CattleSale.com's representatives have always demonstrated this type of character and their service has put me in touch with the largest number of buyers," said Talbert. The best part for Talbert, a traditionalist who has been in the cattle business for nearly 50 years, is that he doesn't need a computer to take advantage of Internet marketing. Talbert especially appreciates that his cattle are represented accurately.
