Gardiner Angus Ranch Sets Dates for Production Sales The 23rd annual Gardiner Angus Ranch Production Sale will be held Saturday, April 6, 2002 at the ranch in Ashland, Kansas. The demand for GAR bulls has steadily increased in the past few years, partly due to the success of our customers marketing their cattle though U.S. Premium Beef. This year, the ranch is selling 100 more bulls in the sale for a total of approximately 400 bulls. The female offering will remain at approximately 525 females. Gardiner Angus Ranch, along with long-time friends and customers Ron Eaton of Eaton Ranch Co., of Post, Texas, and Don Meador, Dreamcatcher Genetics of San Marcos, Texas, will sell a select group of females in the R.A. Brown Ranch Sale of the Century, October 10 and 11, 2001 in Throckmorton, Texas. The sale will feature 500 bulls, 100 elite Angus females and 400 registered females. Gardiner Angus Ranch is also planning to sponsor a breed female/replacement female sale with Superior Livestock Auction on November 2, 2001. Deadline for consignments is October 23, 2001.
