NCBA and TCFA joined the growing list of cattlemen who have donated to disaster relief funds for the terrorist attacks September 11. TCFA donated $1,000 each to the American Red Cross's and the Salvation Army's Disaster Fund. NCBA donated $5,000 each to the Red Cross and Salvation Army. Cattlemen across the nation are doing likewise, including Ted Embry of Boise City, Oklahoma, who is donating $3 for every calf he weans this year and is challenging other cattlemen to do likewise. If you care to donate, checks can be mailed to your local Red Cross or Salvation Army chapters or to the American Red Cross, National Disaster Relief Fund, 1800 South Harrison, Amarillo, TX 79102 or Salvation Army Disaster Fund, 6500 Harry Hinds Blvd., Dallas, TX 75235.(c)
