Texas Girl Scouts are learning more about beef thanks to a program called "Fit for a Princess" that is conducted by the beef checkoff program and the Girl Scouts of America. The program provides educational kits to Girl Scout Councils so individual scouts can earn a program patch. To expand use of the program, the Texas Beef Council and the Texas Girl Scout Council recently completed a workshop in San Antonio. The workshop gave scout staff information on using "Fit for a Princess" in their upcoming programs. ©
