There is tremendous international interest in Red Angus due to the industry leading performance programs and heat tolerance of the breed. To assist in meeting the increasing international demand for information on the Red Angus breed, the Red Angus Association of America now provides broad based information in two additional languages.

Red Angus information is available in Spanish and Portuguese on the RAAA website. The History of Red Angus, an explanation of Total Herd Reporting (THR), and a Glossary of Terms is available in Spanish and Portuguese. Also available in Spanish are: Questions and Answers about the National Cattle Evaluation by Rick Bourdon, Colorado State University, and information on registering Angus Plus.

"We hope that by providing this information in Spanish and Portuguese, we will be able to better serve Red Angus breeders and customers on a global basis", says RAAA Executive Secretary, Dr. Bob Hough.
